I was looking to upgrade my BRAKES. I was looking to get 4-pots and was wondering if they make them for a 02 Leg and how much and what else would I need?
from Huffer: How about a sensible thread title...and check your spelling.

Well, you can get the WRX 4 pots or the 04 STi 4 pots for your Legacy...you're going to need rims with plenty of clearance for them though.

I'd either go with www.nasioc.com (http://www.nasioc.com) in the private for sale forum for used brakes or www.subarugenuineparts.com (http://www.subarugenuineparts.com) for new 4 pots. They have either the new red calipers or the old black ones.
You'll need the calipers, rotors, pads, brackets, and lines possibly IIRC.

Do the 02 impreza and 02 leg Gt have the same break specs? I went to some of the links provided and they led me to impreza stuff

^ yes the front brakes are the same, u just need to buy the bigger rotors to go with the kit i listed, i think u need the 02-04 wrx 11.7 inch rotors. i can double check if u want me to.

Sure. Can you basically tell me what I would need. Part by part. that would save me a huge headache. Unless it is a hassle then it is no big deal.

all u would need is that kit, and rotors.... you could pick up some SS lines to, but im pretty sure it will still work with your stock lines.
im pretty sure u need to buy a set of the 02-04 wrx rotors that are 11.4 inch, because im pretty sure that the 11.5 rotors on the new wrx have a differant lug pattern, unless they arnt the same as the newer STis
edit: i dont think the 06+ wrxs have a differant lug pattern....

Nope, WRX is still the same as every other Subaru. STi and Tribeca are the only different ones. (05+ STi that is)

WRX rotors are 11.4", not 11.7.
Here are the misc. brake pieces (shims, pins, etc.) to go with the calipers:
1 of 26233ae050
2 of 26233ae010
1 of 26233ae020
1 of 26232fa010
1 of 26244fa011
1 of 26244fa001
2 of 26228fa001
1 of 26232fa020
That's per caliper.
You can also check out www.subarugenuineparts.com (http://www.subarugenuineparts.com) as they're price for calipers + hardware minus the pads and rotors are around $520; just in case the price for iclub vendor changes or something.
