1st problem:

My drive belt started to make a squeeky sound during idle. I am currently at 56k miles on the odo on 2002 LGT BE. Is this a common problem? I think my car is under warranty so I will be taking it in to the dealership whenever I get a chance to get it tightened.

2nd problem:

After installing an axleback(Magnaflow universal welded axleback), I noticed when shifting, I hear popping noise (I'm assuming its the backfire) Is this bad for the car? The thing is I smelled something, so I popped the hood open and took a look, I see a drip of coolant off of the hose to the block section. I do not see anything leaking whenever I check it, and seems like its small drops...The resovoir tank is still between Full and Low level and all. Do I need to get a new hose? or a clamp? Has anyone had this problem before?

I wrote these problems in the same thread because seemed like it started to happen right when I noticed both problems at the same time. Also, the drip is close to the drive belt. My guess was the coolant dripped on to one of the pulleys...and its causing the squeeky noise...I'm not sure so thats why I'm posting on this thread to get other opinions and inputs.

Also, If i bring my car to the dealership with snorkus delete, and aftermarket axleback, would this void my warranty? Everything else is stock. Thanks in advance for all of your help and sorry for the long story.

You have a warranty at 56k miles?

Well, the popping is normal, any exhaust does this, but if you make it louder, you're going to notice it more.

Have you used the coolant conditioner that Subaru prescribes for the BE/BHs?

I would say it's probably what's causing your squeak, but check the tightness of the belt all the same, it could be too loose/too tight.

My friend with wrx with more miles went to the dealership for slipping belt, they tightened it with no charge. I have extended warranty 6years up to 100k does that count?

You can't ask us what your warranty covers, read your warranty papers.
