I saw a video of an impreza that posted something insane like an 8.9...look in the videos section, there's a link to it.

sorry Reason...that's like a 2 hour download for you :( It was a blue Legacy....there's actually another picture of it around here somwhere I think. Probably in some of 2deadlegs's random subuaru galleries. It was alternating wheel burnouts...front, then back  Nice Car :D

Ver5/6 rims, EJ22t and a FMIC. Nice package.

1 question I got: How many times does he replace that center diff? Anyone notice the front wheels burning it up and the rears planting the car? Thats one toasty center diff.

It is quick though....11 seconds at 116mph. Nice.

Maybe he stole the STi adjustable differential??? i don't even know how adjustable it really is (probably 60/40 split is the extent) but he might've been using that...

Nope, the STi center diff cant put that much power to the front as to not completely roast the center diff. I bet he either 1. doesnt do drag runs pulling the ebrake like that a lot or 2 goes through center diffs like toothbrushes. Ive seen crazy fully adjustable (100/100) center diffs but they are $$ and heavy as crap, making me believe that is not the case in this car. Oh, and the STi center diff is a biotch to swap, my buddy put one in his WRX and it took us a very very long time :(

What's the extent of the adjustable STi differential?

I believe it goes from 70/30 (front/rear) to 50/50. dont quote me though. In my friends WRX we just leave it in automatic mode and let the yaw sensor decide what the best power split is.

That car is from NSW, Australia owned by Chris. He has since run an 11 flat. Good bloke, you have to hear the car in real life. He left my house(I have a 100m long driveway) and gave it a hit and oh my god the spool up from the turbo and the wastegate are so loud, I heard him all the way up the road!! Heres a newrer pic
