Where is the cabin Air Filtration System on a 02 legacy? I have never changed it due to the fact that I dont know where it is. Also how do you do it?

Its probably behind the glove box. Look in your owners manual. it will tell you where it is and how to change it.

Man.. ive been wondering if my seried of car (BD) has one or not. I'm pretty sure yours is behind the glove box as stated. Are you getting dirt blowing through your vents or something? i am.. and it sucks!

No. no dirt I just thought it might be time to change it due to the fact that it to my knowledge has never been done. Also can you replace it with a home filter? Cut to size? I was looking on NASIOC and a few people were cutting up home filters

I was looking at my glove box and I cant see away to get the glove box off. there are a few screws but they dont look like they would help to get the box off.

Normally you dont have to take the glove box all the way out. Normally you can push in on the sides and just get it to come out some more so you can get behind it.
Maybe try looking under the dash by the glove box to see if you can see anything.

What a pain in the neck!! The info from cars101 really helped. Once I got the glove box off and that was a pain i saw the filters. I pulled them out and what a mess! They were as black as can be. And there were leaves every where! Now its off to the store to buy a filter and cut it to size
