Is there any reason not to relocate this?

Ok, so I was looking at my engine bay looking at what I needed to do to get my CAI in there. I already decided to move the factory Alarm siren, but I'm wondering if it's ok to move this module thing?

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the cruise control, but I'm not sure. Also, It doesn't appear to be grounding through that metal bracket at all, but is it? Either way I'd like to make a small, less odd shaped mounting bracket for it. So Can I do it?

It is not your cruise.

I believe it controls the EGR. Moving it should not be a problem, as long as you keep the vac lines routed and have enough wire to get it there.

Definitely not cruise control. Cruise module is on the otherside of the engine bay and has a throttle cable running into it.

Not sure what that bracket is, but it gets rusted pretty bad on the northern cars/salt belt. You might want to be careful of sitting moisture on a pod filter in that area.

You shouldn't really need to remove it for a CAI kit, there's plenty of room once you remove the other air piping.

Yeah, you can move it.

I don't really see why you'd need to though. Usually it's the ABS system that gets in the way of everything.

I think it'll probably clear it fine since i took the siren out. I jsut want to make sure its' ok to move incase I do need to.

Sorry to bump from the dead. It looks like the pressure sensor and atmospheric solenoid valve. Ok to move. You probably already did.

If you do have any strange running behavior, then first thing I'd worry about it whether it's getting wet in the location. Shouldn't be hard to fix, though.
