Rear LSD

Ok, so do the USDM vehicles have a rear LSD?

And if not, which models are compatible?

I'd like to know the answer to this one also. I've seen a few BD LSD's on eBay.

in the US, the automatic legacys SS's had one for a couple years. not sure on the years tho.

I believe the BE GTs may have came with a rear LSD. Not sure on that though.

There was no LSD on any USDM BD/BK/BG IIRC.

And yes, some first gen SS's had them.

Yeah, BE GT's got rear VLSD, as well as the outbacks. I didn't know none of the BD's didn't come with one though.

You can use a rear LSD out of a 2.5RS though.

If you have the matching 4.11 Tranny, only GTs and Outbacks did (for the BD/BK/BGs)

BE/BH GTs and Outbacks have a 4.11 LSD for 5 spd cars and a 4.44 LSD for automagic cars.

I can vouch for the LSD in the BE GT's... It makes for interesting driving in slippery conditions until you learn how it works. Even then it can surprise you at times :shock:

Only the Outback Limiteds I beleive have the rear LSD.
