we were able to get our hands on some vital information that provides a clear picture of what the next WRX STI will be like, including its basic appearance.

Even if that only means they were told the grille will look like this I will be happy.

Looks pretty sweet, much better than the Corolla/WRX. Now, even though I'm the biggest wagon fanboy you'll meet, I gotta say, it's a little weird seeing the STI as a hatchback.

Apparently it's all routed like previous imprezas, but becaus of the short distance between the bumper beam and the suspension on the hatchbacks, it turns a corner and exits on the right. Like the honda CRX's

IMO, the STi bodykit looks way better than the stock WRX one for the hatchback. I wonder if they will apply the same STi treatment to the sedan?

At any rate, props to Subaru for the modifications to body work. We can only hope they make STi versions for the Legacy and Forester look good too. (I'm a big fan of the Forester Sports versions so far, and read the article about the 2.5XT conversion in the Subaru performance magazine.)

The above looks pretty damn sweet to me. I've always been partial to the hatchback Imprezas anyways (I'm thinking about picking up a bugeye WRX wagon pretty soon) and that one looks tons better then the '08 WRX pics I've been seeing.

Gottasay though, that Evo looks fricken' hot too. Mmmm.
