Looking for an OEM replacement, for NGK BFR5B-11.

Would these be appropriate?

According to Summit Racing, they'll fit the 98 GT wagon just fine.

I run the 2 dollar NGK's

I got NGK Iridium. Haven't put them in yet though because I am not sure if I should do my vale cover gaskets first or not (oil on the tops of the plug boots :( )

just put the OE platinums or OE iridiums. that's the best thing you can do for a car unless it's very modified. the ignition system was designed for that plug, why mess with it if it ran right from the factory?

running on the iridium ngk's now. car starts right up, definitely noticed a difference. put in some new subaru plug wires on too.

i think i should replace the coil pack too. where can i get one? prefer somewhere online because i don't always have time to goto a dealer to get parts.

Ditto, i thought my battery was toast, it's been in the car for 4-5 years. It was barely starting, I switched in the NGK iridiums and NGK sport wires, and my car is still running great. It was expensive though, I'm glad i only drive a 4cyl.

i actually have gotten coils at both vato zone and advance... they had the identical markings of OE. Diamond and all the numbers.

and yes, and OE tune up is not cheap. plan on $11/plug.
