Just finished installing my steering rack bushings.. everything went well, took me a couple of hours.
Problems:
1. My steering alignment is now off. When I go straight, the steering wheel is turned to the left a few degrees.. wtf? I never d/c the steering wheel shaft from the rack!
2. There's a slight vibration in the pedals and steering wheel.
3. I didn't notice any improvements.. yet.

I felt a better turn in response with the bushins. Not sure what to say about the vibration though.

Where did you get the bushings from? and how much were they? I was considering doing this.

If you had to disconnect the rack from the crossmember, there's enough play in the mounts that it may mess with your toe.
That's why most writeups say to get an alignment right after the bushings just to make sure.

I had to get an alignment soon after too because my wheel was slightly off.. i haven't noticed any improvement really either but it's not like im taking corners like a mad man. I know my passenger side bushing just straight up needed to be replaced anyways, it fell apart when it came off. I got mine off of ebay, blue Noltec ones
