Anyone see the new Subaru commercial?

Its the same BS with a nice apple pie American guy in front of the camera bragging about how the cars are made in Indiana, this time boasting more eco-friendliness.

That's better than the stupid Subaru SUV-lover friendly commercials I see.

What happened to the WRC inspired ones?

Yeah.

Yeah I think they need more WRC, and X games Rally commercials. I still have a poster they were giving away at the detroit autoshow..."Turning the X games into the WRX games. It's what makes a Subaru, a Subaru" I think that would make a good commercial.

It's what they built their rep on. Heck, even Audi throws us a Lemans R10 commercial once in a blue moon.

Well, it's a lot more than Detriot can say about its auto plants. It's time we paid attention to the kinds of emissions (not just CO2) that we are putting into this earth.

Besides, do you really think Rally is going to inspire the majority of people that buy Subarus to keep buying them?

I mean, I don't mind seeing Subaru brag about the amazing vehicles they make, but you guys are being awfully cynical about it just because every commercial doesn't appeal to your favorite aspect of Subaru.

?? I've never seen a commercial like that before, honestly.

Besides the Subaru one.

I seriously think Subaru should have avoided the SUV and the outback wagon, and gone with an EJ257 powered minivan.

Mazda makes the hottest looking cars, I'm sorry to say.
MPV, Mazda5, Mazda3, the 6...they may not be very creative names, but dang can those little vehicles handle.

They actually look fast too.

Based on what I see on the roads, the outback (especially the wagon) are the majority of Subarus. Its a very capable car. I see the tribeca as more of a minivan with weight issues

I don't think the WRC racing commercials would work as well, especially since everyone today is trying to push econofriendly mother nature hippie love love best friends forever cars.
