impreza to BD5

hey guys i had a impreza 2.5rs before and now i have a 97 legacy gt, a friend of mine has megan coilovers for his 2.5rs and he said he'd get me new ones for 800. i just wanted to know what kinda suspnsion components match between the 2 cars. what kinda impreza parts can go on the leggacy and does anyone know if it's worth getting an 01 impreza rear lsd differential or does the leggacy have the lsd diff and whats the ratio on the legacy one?

No LSD, but you need to make sure the ratios match up. I believe you have a 4.11 final drive, and the automatic GT's have a 4.44?

Suspension wise, pretty much everything will bolt up, but you will have less suspension TRAVEL from the impreza coils. The springs may be underdamped also, as the BD is nearly as heavy as the 02+ WRX.

cool man thanks. if i have a 4.11 then the rs tranny diff matches infinal drive ratio so if one has the lsd and the other doesnt i guess i think i might just swap that. well i just wanted a 22mm or wider rsb and they sell those for cheap for the rs and if i got suspension made for the rs it would be the megan coils, which are adjustible so i figured it would be alright. and i know this might not be the best place to add this on but maybe some of you vette's can fill me in or worth and cheap upgrades from the start.
