Hi,
I had problems with my sunroof: the inner cover of the sunnrof (the front part) didn't work anymore so I removed the roofliner and saw the damage: :-?

Is this a known problem? How to handle? Please help!
Thanks in advance!

That's not good at all. I wonder if the moon roof for the BD fits the BH. I have one with the tracks and glass.

I have a friend who has a leak from the sunroof but otherwise I haven't heard of any problems.
How difficult is it to pull the headliner? Did you check the service manual or just take it out?
He's in Germany

The dual sunroofs in these cars are very fragile. My wifes Outback has a completely non-functional dual sun/moon roof - neither one opens (glass panel and shade). The one in my Leg seems to be alright - the only issue is the rubber gasket on the front panel has come off the glass due to a bit of rust underneath. The local Subaru dealer tells me it can't be put back into place and that the whole front glass panel would have to be replaced - crap or not at least it is not leaking (it just doesn't look right if you look at it close).
Hi,
thanks for your answers.
1) the BE/BH sunroof is different from the BD/BG (according to the dealer)
2) the spare part costs EUR440,- (US-$590)
3) yes I have the complete Workshop Manual so I knew knew how to remove.
maybe I should replace the roof by a piece of carbon or so
I'll see if I can build the tracks and repair it. Currently I drive around with only the lower half of the interior - a bit of Petter Solberg feeling
