For some of you that don't know the difference of the two. If anybody has any info please let me know and I'll add it to this post.
Front caliper
L - 1 pot
GT- 2 pot
Rear caliper
L- single 33mm piston
GT- single 38mm piston
Front rotor diameter
Rear rotor diameter
I also ask anybody with aftermarket brakes to take measurements on their rotors and the pistons on the calipers. Maybe we can come up with some answers.

Might want to drop in the model year/revision.
I know badbasser98 has some info re: BE

Yes please state the year that you got the measurements from. If there's any difference I will separate it.

I have the revised 2002 model. Basically has WRX brakes on the front. They are the 11.5" rotors and 2-pot calipers.
The rears are the 11.3" but not sure on the piston size, I imagine it is unchanged...
The front pads are the 721's and I can't recall the rears, but they are the same for all the MY02 cars. The biggest issue is which ones are up front on the 2002's.

Stupid question - do all 2002 GT's have the WRX front calipers?

No, Subaru changed to them half way through the production year along with the larger rotors...

'95 Legacy L, LS, LSi, Outback
Front Rotor Diameter: 10.2" (vented)
Rear Rotor Diameter: 10.5" (with integrated brake drum for e-brake)
'96-'99 Legacy LSi got larger front rotors and 2-piston calipers (Same as GT): 10.9" front (vented)
Also the LS package was gone from 97-99

Any idea when the change was made? I have to check the build date on my door. I probably have a car built before the change 'cause this usually happens to me - I got the first run of '02 WRX before the brakes were upgraded, and I also got the first run of the '04 STi that had the knock in the rear struts before they changed them.

I don't know the date. Best bet would be to take your VIN to a dealer and ask what front brakes you need.

Just take off the rim and measure the rotor size yourself. Its not very hard to tell the difference btw the 10.7 and 11.4 rotor even with a rough measure.
