this is what im going for. i took a pic from tire rack, put it in photoshop, lowered it, made the rims gold on the inside, tinted the windows and smoked the tail lights.

Get back into photoshop and clear those headlights! Anyway, that shouldn't be too hard to do and will look good!

Hi there!

Sorry I didn't post about your car earlier. My wife has a 2000 outback wagon in dark green and tan.

I really like what you're looking to do with your car (blue paint, tint, gold rims, etc.). My wife was real good to me and let me make the first two car purchases (both subarus, she's got the outback and I drive a 98 gt legacy sedan). Next car purchase she wants is a Toyota Prius, and I will have to give up my lgt to do it...

...but once that's done, I will get the wagon. I'm thinking about painting all of it dark green and maybe getting a lip for the front bumper (something like omahasubaru's BE sedan with that front bumper). Oh, and maybe a rear spoiler and an spt exhaust as well. (And maybe a 6-cylinder engine swap, but then again, I'm all talk... until I actually do some of this stuff. :))

God bless you. Enjoy your wagon!

here it is! got back my 2000 wagon from the body shop with a whole new front end and paint. got the rims, got two new tires, got them put on, new pads and rotors, new coil pack, new spark plugs, new wires from the spark plugs, as well as an amazing detailing from the detailing shop that works with the shop that my father works in. car got dirty quick and i kinda cleaned a couple hours before i took these pics. car looked like it was from a showroom when i first got it back. they even shampooed my carpets!

still have to clear the corners on the new headlights...

still want to do tints, prob 20's all the way around with one of those strips for the top of the front windshield, smoking my tail lights, suspension(h&r springs with gr-2's), and a custom cat back.

It's amazing what a set of rims do to a car.

thanks guys. i'm lovin the wheels. theyre rota p45f 18x8 +48 wrapped in kumho spt's 225 45 18. I bought them from might gt. the front tires are new because mitch's allignment was messed up so they got worn down. all together the rims and tires cost me a little over 700 with what i paid mitch for the rims tires and lugs, the two new tires, and the 50 bucks i had to spend to get the two new tires put on because where my dad works didn't have the right machine for the low profiles. not bad considering the rims alone can be between 750 and 800.

The g35 is neglected. I moved to Philly and left it at my parents house so it only gets driven every other weekend. It kinda sucks but I wasn't about to bring it to the city with me.

working on it be-fresh. im suprised though, it doesn't look as bad as i thought it would. i expected extreme 4x4 status going from 15's to 18's.

is your car still at stock height? can you measure the gap between the top of your tire to the fender for both and rear?

2000LWAGON
11-18-2007, 12:14 AM
yes. still at stock height. i'll do it tomorrow before i take the rims off put the steelies back on. getting dropped this spring when i have the money for it.

actually if you can measure w/ the stock steelies that would be more meaningful. i'm trying to compare the gap in my OBW vs stock Legacy wagon. I just bought a used set of Legacy springs and shocks and trying to have an idea how much lower it'd be. thks.

Nice great to see another 2000 wagon L. ill get my pics up soon but searched threw all 10 pages before i found yours cant wait to see more. love to see another stereo enthusiast aswell. i plan on doing alot with all that trunk space. currious if you get any rubbing problems with the 18" are you on stock suspension? i posted something the other day about wanting to get 18's and all i got was flack about being to slow with the stock non-turbo engine and then comment on the ride being to ruff becuase the side walls are so thin( i was loking for comfort and handling/daily driver) and then i come here and see good comments haha. keep up the great work, plan on following your ride any up dates.

Dude, for the love of god, stop bumping 2.5 year old member's rides...

It's great you're looking for inspiration or whathaveyou, but it's better to quietly look through the old member rides rather than commenting in all of them that you see...

Relax, read, think, and welcome to the site. But seriously, chill out.

ha sorry about that, no offense. I was really hoping if some one saw intrest in there thread they may update it with new stuff, more than likley they just moved on. question is there a way to mark a thread so you can come back and read it later, if some one updates. I was commenting on ones so it will show in my "view your posts" that way i can see updates and remember hey thats a thread i had intrest in/follow up on.
