OK well i found this on ebay, and i was wondering if this will fit on the legacy MAF(2.5 BD). I dont know if anyone knows the measurements but it has them on there.

Hold on they sell these at a pep boys, is it for subaru or do u have mdl#?
If i knew i could have drove to get one of these i would have never looked!!

there's not a part # that i know, but it's in the ricer aisle, (no offense, you know that). it's just a 3" MAF adapter, for use on many many cars. you have to modify it a little bot, elongate the holes, but you can do that with a pair of dikes easily.

yeah man, i broke the top of my airbox at one point and had to do this.

HAHA Funny yeah i know what u mean by there ricer section, havnt been there but im sure its like auto zones. Also what are dikes? and how much moding to it is needed.

Autozone has them too. You just need to modify the mounting holes.

dikes = diagonal cutting pliers.

that tool is up there in greatness with the BFH and 18" water pump pliers and the 2' breaker bar and 3' pry bar.

My favorite is the 4' torque wrench that we use as a breaker bar. Dikes work very well too, the angle dikes are good for cutting around corners.

I've made one of these before with sheet metal for a Galant. I wish I would have just bought one instead :)

Vibrant makes one! Part #1994.. fits all Subaru's perfectly. I got it from JRP (www.jrponline.com (http://www.jrponline.com)) .. it's local to me, for $15 CAN

Yeah ive seen the vibrant one but havnt seen it anywhere on an online store(PLZ LINK IF U KNOW WHERE TO FIND IT). Warrior, do u think i could call that store and order it over phone?

I just found a cone filter with a metal back plate, and drilled holes in the metal plate, and bolted the MAF directly to the filter. Too bad that filter is looking a bit worse for wear...
