I have 1 1998 LOB and would like to make my accessory power outlet in the cargo area and cigarette lighter both constant powered. Is their an easy way to do this? I don't have a FSM or anything and am not good with electrical goodies (unless releasing the smoke from the wires is a good thing). Are they on the same wire or are they different? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can hook them directly up to the battery, but it's not something I suggest, in case you leave a device plugged in - you could drain the battery.

What do you have in mind?

The reason I want constant power is for the occasional time that I do plug something into them I donot need the keys in the accessory position. It really stinks when my cell phone is dead and I'm out running errands turning the car on and off and taking all day to charge my phone. Also, when farting around in the trunk and keys not being easily accessible or in the middle of something to have to get up and turn the car on to use the accessory.
All in all it's just a pet peave of mine.

You could run constant power - but I would also install a physical on/off toggle switch (low profile, for good looks) next to the outlet just to be sure.
