ok so wagon hatch support things

so i moved this weekend and on the last load my bud closed my hatch, there was a loud bang and it didnt close, as we then found the little lifter thing on the right side of the hatch came off its mount and the piston looking part bend at about 30 degree's. needless it say its toast, not even a question in my mind, but i have to replace it, anyone know the avaliblity of these or the cost in canada? my hatch closing on my when i open it really sucks lol. i think it also needs new fittings to put it on

I don't know availability in Canada, but when I needed new ones for the wife's Outback, my local parts store was able to get them easily for me. I don't think they were very expensive, either.

No idea what year is yours. A friend bought a pair of new BG non-oem ones on ebay for $50 shipped.
