Got my short shifter and bushing in the mail and installed yesterday and all I gotta say is WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! 5th gear is where 3rd used to be and the throws are shorter between 1+2, 3+4. Oh man!!! Here's to Kartboy:smt023

how hard was it to install? I have been playing with this idea for a while. how long did it take and whats the process?

Install is fairly easy. Actually seating the new shifter into the socket (it's a ball and socket setup) was the toughest part for me. I had a new shift knob as well, so I just put the old knob on the new shifter and smacked the knob with a BFH.

Can you please measure knob travel from 1st to 2nd gear?
And how high the knob is above the trim?
