I was on a cruise down in Eugene with some friends...after pizza I cruised over to a friends . We then headed up this short hill at about 20mph and BANG..BANG...((BANG))) ...CLUNK))) ...CLUNK)))....

My friend Bryan hooked up a tow strap and put it in Neutral...no change...
I jack up the right front where it seemed to be coming from....The CV was ok until I grabbed the inside where it meets the final drive...very loose inside!
A buddy had a trailer and towed my outback back up to my shop ..100miles!
I finally got into it last night....and found this part after draining the f. diff and fishing with a magnet...
I should be up and running by Sat. my cost $543.81 for all parts complete.. and my labor.
Good thing I'm a mechanic... it's about a 2k job!!! :twisted:
