Hey

I have a 97 legacy gt with an Eibach sport kit (lowered 1.5 in the front, 1.25 in the rear). Im looking to get some rims and want to get 18's... but is this even possible for my car? Im also having trouble figuring out what wheels will even fit my legacy. for example, i really like these wheels...

but will they fit without rubbing? Also in the 18x7.5, what does the 7.5 stand for? Thanks.

Lowered I'm sure they will rub.

Not only will they rub ,but overall for performance they are too big...they will decrease acell and possibly damage handling performance as well.

You may want to consider 16's.

Those are nice rims, get the 17's and get a 215/4517 tire and roll your fenders....depending on the offset of course.

when you say depending on the offset, what does that really mean? Ive just started looking into wheels so im a noob at this. the offset of the speedy fin's is 45mm ... what is the offset of the stock rims on a 97 2.5 gt?

18x7.5 = 18 inch diameter, 7.5 thick (wide).

Stock offset on Legacy GT is 55mm. stock rims are 16x6.5.

You're all missing the most obvious part, those are 4X100....wrong bolt pattern for subarus.

thats just a picture... they do make that wheel in a 5x100 pattern. here are all the sizes and lug patterns available:

You can get 18s but as others have said it will rub. You would need to add camber (tilt) to your wheels and have your fenders rolled.

Go with a set of 17x7 or 17x7.5 with about 48 offset. Make sure its a 5x100 bolt pattern
