Just thought I would share the progress on my swap, heres the specs:
1995 Legacy L Auto FWD
1991 Legacy EJ22T Engine
Im using stock 95' intake manifold/ecu
Greddy emanage blue w/injection and ignition harness
Stock EJ22T Pink Injectors
Innovate motorsports LC-1 Wideband
Neon Ignition Coil Mod
Ebay WRX Header
ERZ 3" Downpipe
3" Hi Flow cat
3" Magnaflow resonator
Gruppe-s Dual Tip Stainless muffler
02 WRX TDO4 Turbocharger
1G DSM BOV
SAAB 900 Intercooler(temporary)
Cometic HG's
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump

I still need to figure out an intake and Im sure I still have a lot of other unforseen problems to deal with. I just reassembled the motor this weekend. Here are the pics:

I will be installing the motor this weekend and will hopefully have it running soon. I plan on changing over to a WRX 5 speed/AWD swap once the dust settles from the motor swap.

When I got the motor all the water hoses/oil lines for the stock turbo were missing or disconnected. If anyone can provide this info that would be great. I will post updates as they come.

sounds like a sound plan. What info do you need?

Will the greddy e-mange allow you to do say a tune to reflect the ej22 stock tune, and a stock ej22t tune?

I have an ej22t donor car that I would love to be able to throw into my 95, but I need to keep obd-II wiring for the smog czars here in CA.

So, if I could run my ej22 manifold/ecu with a piggyback, that would make my day/month/year!

Is this possible? Say do a tune with the greddy to give ej22 type numbers for smog, and then run the ej22t tune the rest of the time?

Yes, I have seen people run the OBDII wiring/ECU with a piggyback to manage the injectors/turbo(which is what Im doing). So essentially when you need to get an emissions test you could run a tune for low boost. I really like the Emanage setup. It can be cheap if you do it right as well. I got a used emanage on ebay, purchased the harnesses from mohdparts and built my own usb cable, the entire set up is running me only about $250. Right now I need to figure out the original oil/coolant lines for the turbo so I can hook it all up.

That is good to know, thanks.

I can try and get a pic of my donor cars routing for you, if it will help.

Ok, so I took some pics today. Im pretty sure where the oil supply line is fed and the oil drain but Im curious how I need to hook up the coolant lines. I dont have a coolant tank so I need to hook it all up without it. Like I said previously all these were missing when I bought the engine. Im also wondering what the ports are on top of the valve covers? Also did the EJ22T have EGR because there doesnt seem to be anywhere to hook it up. Let me know!

The ? oulet in the first pic of the water pump goes to the oil to water cooler that came on the '91 EJ22T's. Only the '91s had this, as do all the newer gen turbo subies. You can cap it off if you don't have that cooler.

Second pic is in fact the oil drain.

Third pic is correct on the oil feed. The hose barb in question is the coolant supply for your turbo.

Lastly, those are for your PCV plumbing.

Here is a diagram of all the vacuum routing.

Oh, and the EJ22T does not have EGR.

Thanks a bunch for the info piddster! That is exactly what I needed to know. My engine is a 91 so I have the oil cooler and the fitting for that is on the other side of the water pump. I managed to find a diagram and that one goes to the coolant reservoir that feeds the coolant on the turbo. Thanks a lot for all the info. I hope to be running soon.

Oh, haha. I was thinking about the water pump backwards. Either way, sweet you have it all figured out.

BTW, the water pump sucks the coolant from the resevior. If you're running a resevoir that doesn't fit in the stock location, make shure it is higher than the turbo, otherwise convection won't cool the turbo after you turn the engine off.

Good luck.

Yeah my coolant reservoir is all f-ed up which I guess is a common thing. I will be getting a turbo timer or a wrx tank to help cool the turbo.

Ya the plastic tanks are lame and they break even if you just look at it funny. Plus they are about $90-100 new from subaru. WRX ones are nice since htey are actually metal.

igotasubaru, if you haven't gone to the following site, go there:

http://bbs.legacycentral.org/

Lots of guys there are running td04 and td05s with several good threads on how to do what you're asking.
