OK these are going pretty cheap on eBay. These will still work on the Legacy right? Also I want one but I know the ECU learns around these things. Do you think maybe they new one will stop that from happening. Ive seen that the one guy said he reset his ecu every time, i would not like to do this. Also i know this has been asked but i just cant believe there is no way og stopping this. No one has ever figured this one out?

short of installing a relay switch to inturrupt the power connection to the ecu so that you can restart it from your drivers seat, there is nothing you can do to stop the ecu from learning around the SAFC 1, 2, or neo. The ECU is what is learning around the SAFC, so a new model SAFC isn't going to stop the ECU from learning around it, they still function in the exact same form.

you would have to get a re-flashed(ispeed.com) ecu or stand-alone EM, or a different type of piggy-back that still runs the risk of being learned around.

resetting the ecu isn't a big deal, like i've said in another forum, it gives the car time to cool down between runs and gives you an excuse to show off your pretty engine bay

or, you can just install a kill switch and save yourself some time.
