has anyone seen somethin like these made for BG/BK/BDs? or has anyone tried fitting flares from an older 240 Z or maybe an AE86 corolla? first gen rx7 flares might work as well. any suggestions?

ohhhh someone please tell me the users name with the WRX flares! those ebay flares are kinda ugly and pointless. but the GT on the page is sick! they also knocked off $105 from the price on their site if anybody is interested.

The WRX flares took alot of work. Welding, bondo, fiberglass, etc... I thought it was BG Wagon with the repainted white wagon.

BGWagon did WRX fenders on his BK (funny, because his username is wrong) and it turned out great!

i think that just rear fender flares would look sick but time consuming and alot of custom fab . if you took of the rer 1/4 pannel and could use thestock one and the flare and weld the flare ont the stock 1/4 pannel so that you could put a wider rim on kinda like tubbing but then again that kinda goese against the awd and it is more of a rwd thing idk

I assume you are talking about these Z flares.... a lot of the 1st gen MR2 guys used these; I had been thinking of the same thing for the GT, I think it would look awesome to stuff some wider wheels under there

same concept but use the sti fender flares ! to me it seems wrong to have wider wheels in the rear only .

Oh, No; I would do it on all four corners, and have enough wheel and tire to make it flush all the way around.. With equal sizes all the way around, obviously

It was a custom project... if anyone can track down wide flares for these cars it's likely to be a wheel master from Japan!

get some for a truck that screw on. a clack lifted wagon would look sweet with truck fender flares

Guys are having pretty good luck with Wald IS300 flares on the Imprezas, and the wheel openings and doors are pretty similar, I'd start there.

I think those are replicas, but you're cutting 'em up anyways.

owe . im not to into the idea of the fender flares but i would throw a set on if i had a lifted wagon

flares should be used to fit bigger wheels

not look cool on a lifted wagon...

ya but flares on a lowered car a useless because the wheel and tire are inside the wheel well , either way if it is something that you wanna do than do it , but if it where me i would do it on stock or lifted only . then again the look would also depend on the shape ,and how far the flares came out from the car .

wrong!

on a lowered car with a rediculous offset then you would need some badass flares so yes they are good on both not just the one.

i cant help but laugh every time i look at your posts

so, you mean to tell me, that an unflared car with 8js, vs a flared car with 9.5s and the same fitment is a bad idea?

:sigh:
some people should just not be aloud to post on certain things, especially if they have no clue at all
