Hey
I have a 97 LGT dropped on Eibachs about 1.25 inches. Ive been lookin to buy some new wheels for her and by using the 1010 tires calculator ive found myself with little or no options if i want a rim i actually like. for example, i like these wheels a lot and the price is good also:
http://www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com/cu ... -Fin.shtml (http://www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com/custom/speedy-wheels/Lite-Fin.shtml)
but using the calculator, im told that with a 7.5w and 45mm offset, the wheel will stick 23mm further out than stock. that is a lot and it seems like rubbing would surely ensue. i did an advanced search on 1010tires.com and found that there is not one wheel on the site with an offset over 48mm... Id like to get either 17" or 18" rims and i realize the width cant be over 7.5 and the tire would be 215/x/x. is the 23mm really as much as it seems to me and what options do i have, or should i just forget about the wheel i like? Thanks.
Mike
