I am looking to change the ATF and I was wondering how often it needs to be changed and what is the best ATF I can buy?

I used Mobil 1 synthetic in my tranny.

Any ATF from a major brand is fine - just make sure the grade is appropriate for your tranny. Change it every 30k (15k if you're a hard driver), and add some Lubegard ATF Protectant to help lower overall temps.

If you plan on abusing the car, look into installing a tranny cooler.
