Moonroof visor thingymabob

You know when your moonroof is open and there's that plastic flap that deflects wind? Mine bounces around a lot when I'm on the highway and it's very annoying.. is there any way to keep it snug and not bouncing around ?

it should have a spring in it check if its off or broken

it is spring loaded, and if the spring is weak, then it'll flap excessively.

if all else fails, get the visor thing, like you'd have for the windows.

Eww.. I hate those visor things.. I guess I'll just have to take it apart and see if I can get a stronger spring or something.. shucks

new springs from the dealer? MIGHT not be that expensive.

i've always figured that it's supposed to move in response to the air pressure hitting it at highway speeds...

then again, how else would it function with the moonroof back and forth...

i dunno, i'm just praying my moonroof doesn't die like so many others... i love it so much. i've never had one before, a coupe and a truck before this... i couldn't live with out it. any vehicle i have in the future will either have a moonroof or no top at all. (no convertable, i mean a jeep or early bronco.)

I understand what you're saying.. this is my first moon roof too and I love it at night time. I hope mine never dies too.. so far it's been going good and I'm always checking for any signs of rust or anything. *crosses fingers*

I don't know about you guys, but I'm looking through the windshield, not the moonroof, when I'm driving :lol:

(I'm not a huge moonroof fan, and yes, I do drive a vehicle with one)

i love my moonroof. its not like i would die without it, but if possible i would get one in my next vehicle.

... i guess il have to go for a STi Limited.... shucks. (BTW i saw one yesterday. it was white and very sexy.)

That's genius!! I don't like stickers all over my car or on the windows but that would be a very discreet place.. hmmm... pics??
