The other day after driving for about 40min and turned it off for about 20min, my BK honked when i tuned it on. then it happened again when i turend it off 40 minutes later. and it has been happening off and on since Wens.
Is it just a weird gremlin, or is it a warning of some type. it has been hovering around 95 degrees outside for that last couple days. If that has anything to do with it

Have you been bumping or leaning on the steering wheel at all since Wednesday? (I find it's very easy to accidentally bump the Subaru horn buttons) It's very possible that some wires are worn in the steering column and are arcing power on startup because there's a nice power surge. Or your horn switch (button) is wearing out and is making the electrical connection by itself when there's a surge in power in the electrical system.

to be truthful when i first got the car, i always used to touch the horn by accident.. im like 99% sure i dident these times... i think the high humidity along with with the surge from ignition may have caused it.
i guess

CD player's anti shock is going dead? Does it ever happen when you tap the brakes?

I removed the Polk Momo crossovers and now my keyless remote works flawlessly.

Time to go aftermarket, they're so much better than stock.

Does it beep everytime the signal lights up? Cause that would be priceless
If it's just constant horn, that's silly, but not outrageously.
