I have an offer for a set of wheels: they are 18x7.5 with 50mm offset. They come with tires that are 225/40/18. The price is very good but i need to act by tonight, so if these are sure to rub on my 97 LGT (dropped 1.25 inches) then i wont do it because id have to buy new tires anyway. what do you guys think? thanks in advance.

I found some reasonably priced Enkei's, the RPM2s. How do you guys think these would look on a red 97 LGT? They come only in hyper black - and every picture of hyper black i see online looks different to me. Is it very glossy/shiny? Is it like a black chrome? cuz im not a fan of chrome so i hope not. If you guys have any, could you show me a picture of a hyper black rim that looks like it really does in person? Thanks a lot.

Decided to see how these wheels would actually look on a red legacy (xcntrk75's) so for all my hard work making these im sure u guys can give me ur opinions
If anyone wants to see some rims on their car, let me know and ill see what i can do.

My search for the perfect wheel continues. I came across this Tenzo Mach 10 (flat black with red stripe) ...

I think it looks great ... very tarmac II like as far as the design. The major difference is in the size ... it comes in a 17x7 with +42 offset which may seem like a very low offset but considering the width is only 7' it seems it should stick out as much as a 17x7.5 +48. What do you guys think about the quality of these wheels?
... theyd be going on a rio red legacy so i think the black wheel with red stripe would look killer.

They will rub even on a stock height.

Will they??? Those are only a half inch larger than my 215/45/17 48+ and I've got some room to spare....

Check Dpalencia's ride...he's pushing 18's on 225.40's...

I don't moderate much, but I think you can keep your wheel search confined to here.

I just bought one brand new enkei rpm2 (18x7.5 +50) off ebay for $97 including shipping :) its a killer deal considering they run for $220 elsewhere. i got one just to see how the hyper black color will look and if i like em ill get the other 3 ... and a set of 215/40/18 tires. that thought kinda scares me. ride quality im guessin will suffer. not many tires are offered in that size, but of the ones that are, one of them is the khumo ecsta spt. anyone have any experience with this tire; good or bad?

I like the chop pic of the Rota Tarmac II's in silver.

dunno about the spt specifically but im running the khumo ecsta ast and had the khumo solus before, both have been pretty good at high speeds. Ride quality will suffer eather way, comes with the territory. A small note on picking wheels: if you live near pothole roads stick with thicker spoked wheels because the thinner ones tend to crack.

one word... Craigslist...

These are out in California with mix-matched tires...but $700 for all four isn't bad.
