...In my legacy
Before you start....Yes I know it's unsafe and realllllly dumb.
But me and 2 friends went to Sterling here is Colorado on Sunday. It's a town that is pretty desolate and similar to Nebraska. Anyway, we were there for a party for one of our friends who live on a farm; they have their own private two-lane, paved, straight road that's about 3 or 4 miles long to get to their house. And on our way home I decided to see what my car can do.
I was able to hit 130+ MPH before some limiter kicked in (speed limiter I'm assuming because I felt it cut something suddenly, either timing or fuel) .
Car pulled ALLLLLLL the way to close to red-line and the speedo needle went way past the 120MPH mark, so really I'm assuming it was 130.
I was really surprised that it pulled the whole way to red line on flat ground, and the car felt really stable the whole way.
Now like I said, it was a thick headed move I know, And I'm lucky nothing bad happened because our cars in stock form are not meant to handle that kind of speed safely. So please keep the "bad move" comments to a minimum, It was just a test that, luckily, went well for both me and the car.
Remember, my car is stock aside from a CAI.
