Does this model have an external auto tranny filter like the SVX does?

My 97 GT 4EAT had a internal filter. The 98 may be the same.

External filters are 2000 onwards. Pre-2000 had internal filters in the tranny pan.

I think Pre-2000 USDM BD/BK's had the internal filter. ;) I'm sure Iceland people got better setups than USDM cars did.

Non-USDM models are usually a couple of years different in release date:
NZDM BD - 1994-1998/99
USDM BD - 1995-1999

OK, it seems the only filter is the internal one. I think I will add a Permacool external filter and a tranny cooler just for preventive maintenance. Anyone wants a write-up of how to do it once I'm done? I can post it as a sticky if you want.
