I tried the search function and couldn't find anything so sorry if it's been covered before. I have been noticing that if I have my car idling for a couple of minutes with the interior fan blowing, I get the smell of burnt oil sometimes. It's not a constant thing, but I'm wondering what it might be. Car is a 98 LOB with an e-bay intake (did as well before the intake so...).

Check for oil leaks on the intake side of the engine, near the firewall. It's entirely possible you have an oil leak dripping onto the exhaust, creating a burning smell which is being sucked into the cabin via the windscreen ports.

Is your AC on, is the circulation mode set to RECIRC?

No A/C on, just the fresh air vents (fan at 1 or 2 with outside air vent). I will check it today when I'm out running around.
