Well, after a week and 5 cans of paint, I've finally finished my interior project. I'm really happy with the results and learned a lot about painting along the way. After first buying a can of Krylon Fusion (a no-primer-needed paint which many recommend), I realized the red Krylon color was too different a shade from the color of my car, so i went the long way around and sanded, primed, color coated (with Duplicolor Milano red paint), and clear coated every piece; it was a lot harder than i had imagined, but really worth it in the end. Feels like a new interior altogether.

I painted just around the cluster, and agreed, a little paint can really change the feel of the interior. I'd have kept the switch plates black, and done the door cards instead, but to each their own. Now get a red stitch e-brake.

Good work, looks like a super job. I used the krylon, in black, for certain stuff and it works as long as the area is not seeing a lot of hits from anything. Unfortunately, some spots on my doors are scraped up really bad.

Let us know how this holds up.

Good job on the project overall but definitely not my taste.
