Looking forward to all the fun that comes with a Legacy. Names Dano and I have a first gen. In painting process now. Hope to soon make a rally car of the sort with it.

Thanx. Ya too bad. It was fun though. I'm used to classic car shows but that was better because people actually are cool. Some people like to show off their car but if you ask questions they dont like to contribute to the automotive cause. Paint is going well. Just a can because I want it to rally so dont want to put too much cash into paint. looks good now though,

Welcome to the forums!

What are your plans for the car after the paint job?

plan is if I find money, to get turbo'd, get lights, suspension, and get some more rally experience.

its all good. Thanx. I saw the paint post before and got really excited. I'll save it for later. maybe for my collector at home. Dont want to put too much work into a rally if the rocks and mud will just ruin it. Lights too. Looks good. what do you think is best to pick? i want four in front and putting some on a thule rack also

I'd say paint is a waste if you're going to rally it. Too many dangers associated with the sport to worry about looks.

Unless you Tremclad paint it and then use VINYL for the decals.

Yeah, I suppose. But even so, unless you're sponsored, the car's looks is at the bottom of the list.

I took that into account. Its just a metallic blue and rhino liner on the botton. lacquer over it. I'm not putting my heart and soul into the paint. I just want the paint to match.
