Voltage Stabilizers and Ignition Booster System

Hi guys, I'm sure you remember me. I'm the guy with the 96 Black Legacy wagon with the Tommy Kaira front. There is a perfectly good reason for my disappearance from here. I went away for a while working in another country, so I was separated from my car for a long time. Now that I'm BACK I would like to continue to learn more about my car.

Ok, I was just browsing Trademe (the local Ebay) and I found a few neat items for my car. They are:

D1 SPEC Volt Stabilizer (the ones that fit into the cigarette lighter plug)

Now my question is are these items worth it for me to install on my car? If they are, which ones should I get? Obviously I wont be needing 2 voltage stabilizers :grin:
Also can an average joe like me install them myself? or do I need a mechanic to do it? I realise there is an English installation guide, but I'm just making sure.
It would be great if I could get some feedback from you guys.

First - are you in Auckland? If you are, you should hook up with the ClubSub guys.

Second - I am assuming you are running a single turbo setup, so the VOD from the twinturbo setup isn't an issue.

Third - improving the grounds on a car that is over 10 years old is ALWAYS a good move. It's cheap too. You will find improvements across the board if you upgrade your grounds.

Upgrading your grounds are easy to do with just some cable, crimped ends, and a battery terminal hookup.

Hey Huffer, yes I am in Auckland. I've searched the ClubSub forums about this and I could'nt find what I was looking for. Maybe I need to spend more time looking through the forums.
My car is still a 2 stage TT. I've left it for so long now the primary turbo is dead :-( ...so yeah I guess you might call it a single turbo setup :grin:

So now which ones should I get? Because there's 1 auction that finishes today and the others the following day.

I'd just make my own grounding kit. It'll be cheaper, and you can be more flexible with it. Plus you don't have to pay more for shipping than the item!

Convert to single turbo... hit up Fastfour on Clubsub... he's done the same to his wagon.

Don't bother with any of those kits. DIY FTW!
