I was interested in this kit and was wondering two things: Are they easy to install, and do you think this is a quality part? And one more thing, do they add HP like it claims to? Is it worth it?

Don't get that one, it's cheap. My buddy had that on his Mazda and it's crap.

I got this for my Neon, better made. I will get the same set up for my future Legacy lol.

Are they easy to install? And do they do what they claim to do? HP increase and all that?

All you have to do is take some bolts off, put the wire on, and crank them back in.

A grounding kit can certainly help with a rough idle and headlight dimming, but it won't add significant power or anything like that.

that is too bad that they have to claim that .

None of what they're saying is totally untrue, it's just that they exaggerate. It would do wonders on an older car with a worn out electrical system, but still wouldn't add serious power or anything.

OK. so for my car an 02 with all the mods that I have do you think it would be worth it or would it be a waist of time?

It's not an expensive mod, it can help the headlights, the battery, etc, and it adds a bit of engine bling.

I say go for it, if you don't want to make your own kit.

It is really a cheap mod i just want to make sure I would get something out of it. I will think it over.

It won't hurt, and if it does add 8-10hp whatever they claim you won't notice it. To truly know you have to do before and after dyno runs. And that's exspansive to do for a $20 part. What you read here you take in consideration and go out and do it yourself. It's not like you will be out a lot of money.

very true. Is there any way it could screw up my car?

Yes, just don't screw down to any computer parts. I did it to my neon and my speedo was going wacko.

There were exposed computer parts on your Neon?

It's a grounding kit, it's not actually sending electricity anywhere but back to the battery.

Here's the spots I put my wires on:
Engine
Left Strut tower
Right strut tower
Body location near battery
Body location near ABS system

I doubled up on the engine block spot as well. All of those spots I listed have already existing grounding wires on them, but they're likely much higher guage wires, all you have to do is help them by adding an extra ground wire.
