Hi again. I have a problem with the power door lock in my wagon. It sometimes wont work. Does anyone know what is causing this problem? It doesn't work especially when the weather is cold. Like this morning...and every other morning. It even doesn't work sometimes during summer.
When the central lock doesn't work all I hear is a sound that's a mixture of a click and a purr when I try to lock up. How do I fix this?
This problem is especially annoying during a rainy day. Because my alarm also unlocks the door and when its not working I have to unlock the door manually.
Someone HELP!!!

Sounds like a grounding issue with the switch - or a bad connection. Check the switch connection to the wiring harness. Take door card off..

Ooh heres something new I learned today. My central lock will work when the weather is slightly warmer.
So in conclusion:

cold weather = central lock not working
warm weather = central lock working

Maybe check the bundle of wires between the door and the frame of the car. One of our vehicles had everything short out because those wires broke in half after so much opening/closing of the door

Still sounds like a connection issue. Have you taken the switch connector apart and cleaned the terminals?
