I have Brembo drilled rotors with PBR metalmaster pads. Good setup works perfectly but... when the brakes are hot like during the summer after at least 20 min of driving (normal drive) precisely when I'm about to be complety stop, it makes that very high-pitch noise. It's really only when i'm almost immobilized, no sound even if i lock the wheel (well pedal on floor) at high speed, just at the end.

I need to install my Eibach/KYB next week so I'll take a look trying to solve the noisy problem. Anyone have a clue on what my problem could be? pads/rotors have like 5k on em and it started doing this may be after something like .5k

Performance pads are noisy. They take longer to heat up and work properly.

mm's shouldn't take long to heat up at all and shouldn't be very noisy either. At least not from my prior experience with them.

next time you wash your car w/ a hose or at the spray bay, blast on your calipers... you may just have a collection of brake dust that is creating your noise.

I also think it's after it reach warming temp, the sound is like a loud whistle or some crap. Anyway I'll remove the pads on 4 wheels and have a look, I'll make sure to clean up everything and look for anything suspicious I guess!

*what is "CRC brake quiet" ?
