just wanted to introduce myself. I just picked up my second Subaru, a 1995 Legacy Wagon Brighton Edition recently. I bought her from a guy who could care less about taking care of her. She had 200K and the three front seals blown out and she was puking oil faster than you can put it in. I gave him $650 and replaced the seals, tbelt, and resealed the oil pump. She seems to be running great, no leaks I can see, and I am in the process of cleaning her up to be my DD. She will have performance parts put on as other items go out but only with an eye toward control feel and driving pleasure.

My other Subaru is a '03 WRB WRX. With every track day she becomes more and more focused on going fast and less focused on daily drivability. I have been a member of NASIOC since 2002 but mainly keep to the tech threads. A little about myself, I was born in MN, grew up and educated in TX. I am an engineer in Hoover, AL but will be moving to Terre Haute, IN soon. I love rally, autox, and track days. And it loves to drain my bank account.

Well I have a few pics of the bugeye but it is ALL go and no show - if it doesn't make the car faster/more enjoyable to drive it didn't get modded so she just looks stock.

Welcome!

shane, it's got a hood scoop. If you wanna get technical, it's still not a standard sleeper. But it's a sleeper, as far as a scooped car goes.

We're getting OT, so I'll shut up now. I did have a response, but I'm to lazy to type it.
