need help installing my Wideband 02 sensor...

anyone know, first off, WHERE IS MY 02 SENSOR LOCATED?

and second, what tools do i need to remove it?

The WB02 i've got, PLX, just replaces the stock o2 sensor with the new one, and has an output for the stock ECU in addition to connecting to up to 3 other devices, both wideband or narrowband (and analog)

so... yeah... heard it was easy, but when it doesn't come with any instructions i need help from yall

thanks!

USDM Subaru's have two O2 sensors - one pre cat, one post cat, in the exhaust system.

The pre-cat one is the one you'll want to use for your WBO2.
I'm surprised you don't know the locations...

BTW - see your first post. I edited it for you.

^^ a screwdriver to help disconnecting the O2 sensor, some PB blaster, and a "crows foot" style socket head. Either that or you use an open-ended socket wrench and a crapload of torque.

If you can soak the bolt/sensor in PB blaster for several days prior, it'll make things a lot easier.
