What do they usually go for in good shape?

Moved to general discussion. Asking the market price for wheels is NOT a technical thread.

Back OT, I would say a mint set (5x100?) would go for around $1000-1200 without tires.

There's a guy not more than 40mins from me selling his, but his are 5x114.3 bolt pattern. He's asking $1000.

Used with tires, the lowest I seen is like 800.

Sounds about right. Expect to pay 1k for a set of the 5x100s.
I traded my volk GT-Cs with no tires for a set in mint condition with newish tires

Perfect ones with good tires, probably about 1k. Typically used ones with a little road damage and decent tires, around $800.

This is for the silvers though. Gold sti's go for whatever the seller wants within reason.

are you guys talking about the factory bbs? i couldnt even sell mine with less than 3k miles on them for 400. posted them on iwsti, craigslist, and ebay. with tires they do sell for quite a bit more, but if u can find a set of just wheels, they arnt that expensive.

I'm talking about 04 STi 17" 5x100 silver BBS with Pirelli Snowsport 210 tires that have about 10k miles on them. The rims are in great shape, he is asking $1,200 obo locally.

man when i tried selling my 06 silver BBS of my sti i put 400 on them, wheels only no tires, but no one even hit on them. ebay not a single bid, not a single email from craigslist, all i got on iwsti.com was bumps for a nice set of wheels. but no one wanted them lol.

it's an '06. Sorry to say but your wheels are useless to us. ;) Only '04 sti bbs' are worth anything because they're the only ones from any US STi that would fit other subaru's (well maybe the tribeca...)

That "gay" pattern is actually a lot stronger than the 5x100 wheel and the 06 STi hubs allow a lot more in terms of wheel selection.

HAHA not quite. with the 53+mm offset you need to clear those massive brembo brakes, your wheel selection is SLIM. now days maybe it got better, but when i first bought my 06 and went to look for wheels, they only had one wheel that would fit and it was 400 bucks per WHEEL. but that was over a year ago, i havnt looked at wheels since then.

I think ASA makes a few now (tirerack sells them). I know a couple of STi guys run them for snows and rally wheels.

Doesn't the EVO share the same wheel and offset specs?

dont rely on tirerack to much. last time i looked every single one of the wheels they say "fit" do NOT fit. if you've seen them on a sti then cool, but other wise, tire rack is full of shit lol. they are basing the sti specs off a wrx. and they simply arnt the same.
