Rust spots on hood

I noticed the other day when I was washing my car, I had little tiny little rust spots on the hood. I looks like some rocks might have hit the hood and chipped the paint and now they are little rust spots. Can anyone recommend how to fix these?

Wash car, dry it off with a cloth or microfiber towel, then hit the paint with a good coat of wax. Use some polish to remove the surface rust.

Get some touch up paint and use that to cover the rust damage.

You should hit the paint with a claybar at some point too.
