Hmmm I don't care for the blue under the hood. What's up with the 2nd tach?

Nice choice on headlights.
Just giving you a big FYI your car is not a BG5. I'm about 100% sure its a BK4 because in '96 they also offered a GT model with the 2.5L engine.
An Outback or most (if not all) JDM wagons have the BG chassis code. They have a raised roof line.
A GT or L,LS,LSi wagon is a BK in the United States (non raised roof).
The "4" in your chassis code designates it has the smaller engine available for that year. If it was a 2.5L it'd be a "6".
I hope that is of some use to you. A great mod for your car is an Outback 18mm rear sway bar and I'd highly recommend getting one.

sell the tach and buy a can of some other color paint if you want to spice up the engine bay and stuff. Just IMHO its a bit garish. But its your car and if you like it then that is all that matters
yeah as if the stock tach wasnt big and bright enough lol. i remember those cheepo ebay gauges they were the coolest thing when i was 16, now i look at them and they are just way to bright, i like to go more custom than that now days lol. but to each his own. id ditch the after market tach and replace it with a nice small shift light. im all for coloring the engine bay, its a cheap way to get some change. not my fav choice in blue but thats up to you, but id do a little more, like all your yellow caps. just dont go to over board like i did, then its just to much, i ended up having to buy a new intake and ditching the air thing going to the front of the hood. lol

after i got rid of the intake and when with a k&n it looked great and i cut half the air thing off so it would clear the intake and also get rid of some more red. then it looked pretty good. but id say hit your yellow caps with the paint too.

well, it's coming along quite nicely. The front end looks aggressive with the projectors, eyelids, and scoop. Can't wait to see it painted!
