So I ran a poll like this over on LERSOC.com because I wanted to know how many of the "ballers" over there actually outright owned stuff, or made payments.

What's your total debt?

Include student loans, but not mortgages unless your monthly mortgage payment is more than 35% of your take home pay.

I have no student loans. I don't qualify since my parents make too much money. They pay for half and I pay for half.

I have stuff on my visa right now, but I also have the money to pay it off. I'm working two jobs right now (soon to be only one in a couple of hours) so I'll have money to pay for rent and stuff throughout the school year.

Without my mortgage, I would fall into the 20-50 range for school and cars and loans from my 401k. But my mortgage is nearly half of my take home, so I'm in the 100+ category.

$0..........its the reason I could afford to go nuts.....but at the same time I spend very little of paychecks on mods and alot into a 5.05% saving account.

I have no debt, as the loan for a Baja Turbo is pending approval. I owe no $ on any credit cards either. Of course, this will change in a a matter of days, to -19,000. :-?

Not including my house I'm in the 5-10 which it was 3 times higher 2 years ago and I had a job that didn't pay as well as now. My goal is to wipe out my loans and credit card so I can get into more debt and buy a new car.

I'm currently at zero, which may change depending on whether I have enough money to study in Germany next year without taking out a loan.
