With my car taking a dump, leaving my wife and i with her P.O.S deville, we decided it was time to get a new ride.. After much debate, here's what we decided on..

An 06 Chevy HHR.
lots of people love them, lots of people hate them.. But after being a guy that hated them, i've now come to love it. We picked it because it met all of our needs and had some small extra's to go along with it. So far i've been very satisfied and it seems like all the other owners i talked to while researching it seemed to feel the same way. I'll have some more pics to come.

As for those who may be wondering whats happening to my car.. well, lets just say there might be more then one boosted rio red gt soon

Stay tuned!

it's certainly a good looking vehicle. Keep a careful eye on the brakes, the last 3 gm vehicles my father had all had brake problems.

Not bad, at least it's a GM. Some of the best American cars I driven or owned were GM's. Good luck with it!

I had one as a rental for a week and it really just wasn't my cup of tea. But if you like it that is all that matters - congrats

Hey nice ride Astin. Glad you are happy with it. You know you can add a Vortec supercharger to those motors right...?

nah, its not her lifting up the hood im worried about. Its her heavy foot slamming the pedal to the floor that im worried about

besides, i need to get a motor in trans in mine before winter. (talk about crunch time lol). So if any work is done to hers, it will have to wait. lol

If you need a hand or a place to do the work, give me a call. I just got done tearing down & regasketing the motor in Kate's car plus I'm working on my '92 Legacy Turbo project car at the moment.

i might have to take you up on that offer. Atleast for pulling out the old motor and trans and putting in the wrx motor and trans. I think i might source out the wiring, but havent decided yet. Wasn't there someone in williamsport who swapped a wrx motor into a gt?
