150K check up and maint.

Ok so my wife's 99 GT is at 155K it's over due for a few good things, so I'm sending it to subaru. I'm wondering if I'm missing something and maybe you guys can point it to me.

----Services That will be done:
Oil Change
Coolant system flush, conditioner added
diff fluid changed
transmission filter replaced, fluid changed
inspect and tightening of suspenion componets
bleeding of brakes
inspection of brake system

----Parts that will be replaced:
top and bottom radiator hoses
fuel pump
fuel filter
fuel injectors
spark plugs
plug wires
positive battery connector
timing belt*
o2 sensors
brake pads and rotors as needed

---Parts that I'm having installed:
Reground Delta Cams
tint windows
Thinking about a transmission cooler (any suggestions?)
SS stainless brake lines

and the '99 have timing chains? I have a '98 and its a timing belt. unless subaru change it for the '99?

uh, no. Only the EZ30 has a timing chain.

All Ejs have a belt.

Hydraulic lash adjusters. Oil filled canisters that keep the valve clearance in check. You have solid lifters, meaning they need to be adjusted every 100k miles. I'd say it'd be a good idea to check once a year. It should be a piece of cake. Take valve cover off, insert feeler gauge adjust screw on the top of the lifter. You have to make sure the motor is turned to the right position so that you're checking the lifters when the valves are closed, but I did it on my toyota and it was a quick 20 minute job. This'd be a little longer because you're dealing with two sides of the motor.

BTW, why are you switching out your fuel pump and injectors? If they still work keep them.

We bought the car with 60k, I dont know where the car has been for those 60k and what it's been through, what's been repalced what hasn't. Not to mention that when I was home on leave, We went to the track and I was brake stalling at the light around 3.5-4k when I let off the brake to go, she about died on me, it was weird, but I think it might be the injectors? I don't know... anyways I'd rather spend some of this 35k bonus which I just recieved and replace alot of things on it, "that way I don't have to guess", you see where I'm coming from? and someone made the comment that we must love our subaru, it's my wife's first car so yea, she loves it and she really wants to get a new GT as well but we'll see.....

(and I know what you thinking 35k= motor swap, the wife doesn't want a turbo, (in this car) nor does she want a manual trans, so that's out of the queestion. I am putting reground cams in it though, that should be interesting. )
