I remember reading a post earlier regarding acquiring a 2003 Baja Turbo hood for the BE, I have searched and it appears that it is a 2004 Baja Turbo, at least in Canada it is. I asked my dealer and they did not know if it would fit (was hoping to get them to confirm what was posted on the forum). Could anyone confirm that the hood is a perfect fit if installed on a 2001 Legacy GT. It is a great alternative to finding a B4 hood, never thought of that! Does someone have any pics.

Thanks.

The ignorance of Subaru parts guys amaze me. Search feature sucks on here but can be worked around with some creativity. I forgot the years the Baja was in production but all the years should fit the 3rd gen. Silentracer and a few others have the hood.

Awesome, Thanks, tell me , those JDM early revision headlights, were they easy to hook up to the USDM wiring. I will be acquiring these in the next few months.

Thanks

Thanks

If you were refering to me, mine are not JDM, they are just cleared. Andivic is the only one I seen with jdm headlights.

One more question, the hood scoop is comprised of 3 parts, the dealer told me that I could get away with buying just the scoop insert, no need for the inner duct and other component. Do you have all 3 scoop parts?

Cheers

No, I only have the hood and the hood scoop insert. I'm also using my original heat shield so the hole doesn't go into the engine bay (keeps engine cleaner in my opinion). You don't need the ducts or a turbo heat shield with the hole if you not running turbo IMO.

I'm looking into doing this, did most of you guys who have done this buy a new hood from a dealership? If so, how much was it round about... I am going to put some feelers out for a turbo baja hood but I know they aren't the most common thing around.

400ish from dealership..

thanks, I was thinking it would probably be around that. Did that include paint through the dealership as well and the hood scoop piece?

The paint is separate, i believe the hood insert is in that price.

good deal, one of my fenders is actually getting painted by my guy right now, i wasn't pleased with the repair work the dealership did, so I probably wouldn't of had them paint it anyhow. Looks like I'll see if they have one in stock tomorrow and if so, spend some more money. Thanks for your time and answering my noob questions.
