That's a bit different than I remember the system being in the other BEs.

^^^^agreed. I have all my stock intake stuff from my 00 if you need something, it's just sitting here collecting dust. so yeah, just let me know.

Wow, that looks very different from my original one.

It looks like its going into the fender wall...

Traditionally that "ram air" intake above the radiator plumbs right into a silencer box which plumbs into the filter box all within the engine bay and within plain sight.

That airbox also says "H4" on it - I've never seen that on another BE / BH either.

Do you have a shot of it from the radiator side? ie. facing the car instead of side on?

Here is the parts I have left over. Notice the homemade tubing to make the stock box a "Cold Air Intake". I don't know if any of this helps but let me know if you need more pics!
