Knock off Borla headers.

lol where did you hear that? The Bprla/knock offs enhance the boxer sound a bit.

Search ebay under Impreza, not Legacy. They show up more that way.

2000LWagon - you are misinformed. Unequal headers (like Borlas) enhance the boxer pulsing. EQUAL length headers (like Cobb, OBX or TWE) subdue the sound somewhat because of their equal length design.

If this thread doesn't change over to more of a tech thread, I will be moving this to general.

oh ok. i didnt know about the unequal part. my friend told me something about headers ruining the sound but i guess he meant the equal length headers. thanks guys.

I have the borla header and it brings out the rumble. I also have an STI axle back so that helps a little bit also. I would buy the equal lengths if I could but I would rather spend the cash I have on other stuff!

Don't really want stockers. Honestly, I'm gonna hold off. If I can find a 2 port 2.2 liter block soon, I'll probably be getting a turbo exhaust header. I should save my money. I'll just put up with a cracked header until then.

They do bolt up to stock cat. I think you retain the resonator as well.

i know A2RINC on ebay had the knock-offs 2 or 3 months ago on ebay for 225 or so. but there was also another vendor who used to sell them for even less... do you guys remember what ebaystore that was, i wanna give em a call and see if they'll be selling the legacy headers anytime soon.
