Question About Automatic Transmission Fluid Flow

I am going to install an external transmission cooler on my 96 Legacy because I plan to tow a SMALL two wheel trailer and I need to know which of the two transmission cooler lines at the radiator goes back to the transmission.

Help please.

I've traced it out a few times on different Soobs. I was gonna go look it up in the FSM, but honestly, the easiest and most definitive way is to disconnect one of the lines over a drain pan and have someone crank the engine while you watch which line squirts.

If you have no one available to crank the engine, stick one line into a milk jug and have the other over a drain pan.
