My driver side mirror is a little shakey.. especially at highway speeds.. I have no idea how this is mounted on.. can I tighten it? Is it with double sided tape?? It annoys the hell out of me.

You'll have to take off the door panel, two screws. Then there are 3 screws holding on the mirrior asembly. I'm not sure how it is to get to the actuall internals of the miriror, but I know the actul shiny part of the assemply itself is held on with screws.

Pull the triangle (or tweeter) trim piece (do this with flat screwdriver and slowly and carefully), and you'll see two of the 3 mounting screws that hold the mirror, should be enough to tighten just those two. Screw holes might be covered with small plastic covers. To get to the 3rd screw you'll have to take the door panel off (or bent it out of the way)

My bad.. I should have explained in more detail. It's not the whole mirror unit, it's just the mirror part.. the mirror is shakey, is there anyway to tighten that??

That might be hard to fix. A Subaru tech that I know said those things are a PITA to install. I think they're just supposed to snap in.

The mirror glass itself or the base that holds the mirror is shaky as well? If first - glue it, if second - tough luck. It is very unlikely that some screw that holds electric motor to the mirror cup came off. Much more likely that plastic moving part in the mirror motor, that screws and unscrews of the bolt attached to mirror glass base, got broken, and essentially you need a new mirror motor.
Short answer - get a new (I mean used off ebay or smth) mirror assembly.
